Wheatgrass consists of sprouted wheat seeds, dried and powdered. It is a complete superfood containing 20 amino acids, including the eight essential amino acids needed for the proper functioning of the human body. Wheatgrass is one of the richest sources of vitamins A, C, and all B-complex vitamins: B1, B2, B6, B9 (folic acid), B12, and B17. It also contains calcium, phosphorus, copper, iron, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. Wheatgrass contains 92 out of a total of 102 trace elements found in plants.

Wheatgrass increases the blood's ability to carry oxygen to cells. This leads to the purification of toxic accumulations and increases lymphatic flow activity. Wheatgrass lowers blood pressure by regulating blood sugar and cleansing the liver. Its effect on the gastrointestinal tract is also beneficial, mainly used for detoxification of the body and increasing its alkalinity, due to its high chlorophyll content (about 70%). Wheatgrass also contains all essential amino acids, making it ideal for vegetarians/vegans.

Usage: 1 to 3 teaspoons daily. It can be added to juices, smoothies, nut milks, or water.
