Ghee is butter clarified by heating. It contains vitamins E and A, as well as linoleic acid, which is essential and not produced by the body. Ghee is suitable for consumption by people with lactose intolerance, as it has been purified of lactose and casein. Even if it contains residues of these, they are usually in negligible amounts. This oil has a delicate taste and aroma of roasted nuts and melts much faster than ordinary butter.

Directions for use: Ghee is the ideal fat for cooking and even frying at high temperatures, as its smoke point is 250°C, well above the standard cooking temperature of 200°C and above that of most vegetable fats.
