Easter activities for children

Egg hunt
The traditional hunt for colorful eggs hidden by the Easter bunny is an essential part of the holiday in Western Europe. Children roam sunny yards and compete to see who can collect the most eggs in their basket. All that's needed is for someone to hide eggs beforehand, and if you don't have a yard, this can also happen in the garden in front of the building. For children under 3 years old, we recommend using artificial eggs.
Bunny-shaped gift packages
What could be better than sharing holiday cookies and beautiful eggs with friends? Involve the children in preparing mini packages with sweet bunny ears. You'll need plain paper bags, hemp twine, and a marker. The top part of the bag is cut in the middle to leave two "ears." These are further shaped after the bag is filled and tied with twine. All that's left is to draw bunny faces, and the packages are ready!
Another option is to fill small jars with treats and decorate them with colorful paper ears and flowers. For the filling, you can use chocolate candies, coconut chips, or why not chocolate drops? This is the suggestion from @mariya’s food.
Growing plants for a spring salad
Tell the children about each of the foods we use for the Easter table. Involve them in the preparation process by growing sprouts together for a fresh salad. Let them take care of them, washing them daily and monitoring their development. You can make sprouts from various untreated seeds. These are the sprouting seeds (link) that we offer at ZELEN.
Coloring colorful egg templates
Dyeing eggs is undoubtedly the most iconic part of the Easter holidays. However, when children are younger, it's difficult and even dangerous for them to participate in the dyeing. To save yourself from scalded hands, spilled and drunk bowls of paint, you can give the children egg templates (link) for coloring with watercolors and pencils, which they can then use to decorate their room.
