#SnackWithZELEN – Interview with Mari Cherneva

Mari is a person of art, beautiful places, and an appreciator of small moments. She loves to enjoy life, and that's exactly why she supported us in our mission for guilt-free summer snacking.

Mari seeks beauty in everything, even in her morning coffee. What her perfect summer experience is and what her top snacking products are, she shared with us in this short interview.

Would you introduce yourself?

M: Hello! Who am I in a few words: Mari loves to write, to drink coffee early in the morning and enjoy it. Pink is her magic, words bring her satisfaction, and small moments – true happiness.

Sea or mountain?

M: I adore the sea. As a child who wasn't born in a seaside town – my attachment to it is immense, and I long for my meeting with it every summer.

With a large company or only with your closest ones?

M: It depends. I'm open to new acquaintances because they energize me greatly, but with my closest ones, I feel "in my element" – the feeling is definitely different.

Sunrise or sunset?

M: Both – sleepy sunrises and romantic sunsets, as I call them. Each, in itself, carries its own energy.

Picnic in the park or garden party?

M: Garden party, that's definitely for me.

Do you snack on the go?

M: Quite often, but if it's a snack – I prefer light foods while traveling.

Sweet or savory?

M: I am a true fan of sweets!

Chips or pretzels?

M: Bett'r pretzels, if possible.

Ice cream or chocolate?

M: Ice cream

Nuts or snacks?

M: BETT'R coconut chips with salted caramel, please!

Sunday afternoon – alone or with friends?

M: It depends on my mood, most of the time. If the week has been busy, I will certainly need to rest, and other times to relax with friends.

Audio or physical book?

M: I prefer physical books. The scent of ink and the feel of pages under my fingers is an incomparable sensation. But an audiobook makes the process much easier when you have other things to do.

Cinema or movie at home?

M: Movie at home, in the arms of a loved one.

Extreme experience or a light walk in the mountains?

M: I'd like to try an extreme experience, but I still prefer walks in the mountains.

Silence or music?

M: It depends on the situation, but most of the time I opt for music – my soul dances in sync with it.

What is the perfect summer experience?

M: Sea, my loved ones by my side, a snack at hand, and a cocktail to the sound of waves.

What is your favorite place in Bulgaria during the summer?

M: Camping Arapya, Tsarevo – this is the most magical spot on our Black Sea coast. I've been going there for 10 years, and I never get tired of it.
